About this designer
I'm living the life here in partly sunny San Francisco! My only problem is I sometimes have a case of what my mom calls TMP—too many projects!

I graduated from Carnegie Mellon with a degree in communication design with a minor in creative writing in 2006. I've worked as a visual design consultant at Cooper and Mule Design before landing the most awesome challenge of my professional life—the sole visual design for the beloved little site, YouTube!

I was presented with the design challenge of improving the site-wide visual language of YouTube. Multiple quarters later and working with multiple talented designers and developers, we launched a new visual language for YouTube.com to the world. See it today on a YouTube page near you!

In my spare time, I art-direct of The Disposable Film Festival. I've spent the past five years performing and recording with my band, My First Earthquake. I'm now pursuing other musical adventures. I like to ride bikes, make apple cobblers, film videos, and watch movies.

I'm the daughter of a scrabble-loving psychologist and a bird-photographing engineer. At the ripe age of 5, they supported my decision to become a vegetarian! Still am!

I enjoy whimsical typography, vibrant colors, friendly people, vintage clothing, and thoughtful design.

Thanks for visiting my site,
Rebecca
