The Cooper office is an elegant place with clean lines, designer furniture, and a sweeping view of the San Francisco Bay. The people who work at Cooper are quite casual and relaxed in comparison.I designed the signage for the office’s five conference rooms and two restrooms. I wanted to support the firm’s sophisticated image, while emphasizing the casualness of the atmosphere.
Inspired by Cooper’s sketch-your-thoughts process, I developed this illustration style.
The directional signs were made of glass, backed with frosted vinyl and mounted with a metal strip. Both kinds of signs use vinyl graphics in Cooper orange.
