The Cooper office is an elegant place with clean lines, designer furniture, and a sweeping view of the San Francisco Bay. The people who work at Cooper are quite casual and relaxed in comparison.

I designed the signage for the office’s five conference rooms and two restrooms. I wanted to support the firm’s sophisticated image, while emphasizing the casualness of the atmosphere.

Inspired by Cooper’s sketch-your-thoughts process, I developed this illustration style.

The directional signs were made of glass, backed with frosted vinyl and mounted with a metal strip. Both kinds of signs use vinyl graphics in Cooper orange.
